Your questions, answered

You’ll receive an RSVP card and stamped envelope in the mail once you receive the invitation. Lost your RSVP card? No worries, just send us a note or email one of us below and we’ll make note of your attendance.

The ceremony will be held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Newport, RI, which is right in the heart of downtown Newport at the corner of Spring Street and Memorial Blvd. If you’re staying near Thames Street, you’ll be just a short walk from the church!
Buses will then pick everyone up at the corner of Thames Street and Memorial Blvd. to head to the reception at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, RI (a ~25 minute bus ride with complimentary beverages included!).
-
It depends on where you’ll be staying. Head to the Travel & Stay page to learn more about where to stay and how to get around Newport. As mentioned above, we’ll have shuttle buses to take everyone to and from downtown Newport for the reception.
You are also welcome to drive yourself – there will be plenty of parking available at both the church and the reception venue.
Ubers and taxis are also available in the area, but you should note that wait times are often longer and sometimes less dependable than they would be in a populous city.
-
If you can find a place that fits your budget, we highly recommend staying in any of the hotels listed at the top of the Travel & Stay page – these are all mostly located in the heart of Newport where getting around will be easiest (and the most fun).
There are many Airbnbs and rentals in the area as well that are close walking distance to the best shops, restaurants, and weddings (ours, duh) that the area has to offer.
Middletown and Portsmouth have great rentals and hotel options as well, but would likely require a car and/or the patience for Ubers and Lyfts. The choice is really yours!

The dress code is summer cocktail – think fun colors, bright florals, and eclectic patterns. But really, come in whatever you feel your best and most comfortable in!
-
We wish we could include all of your little ones, but are unfortunately only able to invite some. The only children attending are those of close family or if by specific request.
If anyone needs help with making arrangements for child care, please let us know and we will do our best to assist.
-
Your invite will include whether your plus one is invited – while we wish we could give everyone a plus one, we’re prioritizing making the space for all of our loved ones, including you!

Great question! You will be picked up at the corner of Thames Street and Memorial Blvd. to the left of the Red Parrot at 4:00pm to head to Mount Hope Farm. We anticipate there to be a maximum of 45 minutes between the end of the church ceremony and when the shuttle buses will arrive.
We recommend you walk across the street to take in the harbor sights next to Hammett’s Hotel, or grab a drink at any of the following places: Giusto, Midtown Oyster Bar, Surf Club, Smoke Shop, Bar & Board, or The Mooring. But make it quick to make it back for the shuttle bus!*
*Note: we’ll provide some refreshments on the bus for the 25 minute ride!
